There are 12 scientific process skill that should be expertises by pupils in primary school. The scientific skills are :1) Observing 2)Making inferences 3) Classfying 4)Measuring and using numbers 5) Predicting 6) Communicating 7) Using space and time relationship 8) Defining operationally 9) Interpreting data 10) Controlling variables 11) Making hypothesis 12) Experimenting.
From the 12 SPS, only 5 of them are tested in section B Science UPSR and the others are tested in PEKA science. The scientific process skills are :
